At Alaska Airlines, we believe flying should feel personal. We’re looking for passionate individuals to join our inflight family as Inflight Service Specialists — professionals who bring warmth, safety, and a sense of adventure to every journey. Based in Seattle, Washington, you’ll become the trusted face of our airline, creating genuine connections with guests and helping them feel at home at 35,000 feet. As an Inflight Service Specialist, you’ll combine leadership, service, and safety in a fast-paced, high-altitude environment. You’ll be responsible for performing FAA-mandated safety duties, handling inflight operations, assisting passengers with professionalism, and ensuring that every moment on board reflects Alaska Airlines’ core values: Kindness, Integrity, and Heart. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, find joy in helping others, and believe that small gestures can transform a customer’s travel experience. Your training begins at the Alaska Airlines Flight Operations & Training Center in Seattle, where you’ll receive paid instruction in aviation safety, emergency procedures, customer psychology, and inflight hospitality. You’ll also experience real aircraft simulations and crew coordination exercises that prepare you for the realities of modern aviation. Upon graduation, you’ll join our Seattle base — flying routes throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Costa Rica. Every flight is different, but the goal remains the same: connect people and places with care. You’ll work closely with fellow crew members and pilots, handle onboard announcements, serve meals and refreshments, assist with special passenger needs, and uphold Alaska’s impeccable safety record. You’ll also be part of a culture that celebrates authenticity, teamwork, and the adventurous spirit of the Pacific Northwest. This position offers competitive hourly pay, comprehensive benefits, and legendary travel privileges for you and your family. Whether you’re seeking a long-term aviation career or a new adventure in service, you’ll find purpose, growth, and belonging at Alaska Airlines. Join a team that’s redefining what it means to fly — where every mile tells a story, and every story starts with care.
